Billing Management is a privately owned company specializing in providing the best available services to a variety of medical professionals. Our goal is to be the provider of choice for cost-effective, results-oriented medical billing and practice management services. We strive to provide the highest level of service and expertise to our clients at a fair price. Our team of hard working professionals, equipped with the best tools and training is dedicated to accomplishing this goal on a daily basis.
The People
Michael Corrigan, founder and owner of Billing Management, holds a BS degree in business and communications and advanced degrees in finance and strategic studies. He served in the United States Army Reserve for 38 years and retired as a Major General in 2007. A veteran of the Persian Gulf War, he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Legion of Merit, and the Distinguished Service Medal. Before starting Billing Management, Mike worked for Verizon Corporation for 22 years leaving as the Director of Corporate Payroll and Pension Systems.
Mike’s staff of highly trained billers is experienced with all aspects of medical billing including insurance claims, reconciliation, follow-up, appeals, and patient billing. Metrics are in place to measure account performance and focus the team on the highest priorities. Problem areas are quickly identified and managed to achieve the best possible results for our clients.
The Tools
Technology is an important aspect of contemporary billing operations. High speed internet access is essential for communicating with insurance companies, clearinghouses, and remote client locations. Likewise, servers and workstations require continuous modernization to guarantee the highest system performance standards.
In-house software must be fully supported by its manufacturers and meet all regulatory requirements and ensure security, privacy, and portability. Data security in terms of access, integrity, and disaster recovery shares an equally important place on our list of priorities.
